The HOH Competition
So we get down to the final 2 players of Natalie and Victor. Natalie begins throwing a tantrum about why she should win because she’s never won a competition before. In the only moment this episode where I’ll agree with him, Victor states that Natalie using sympathy to win a competition is downright pathetic. She needs to earn it. Which she thankfully does not as Victor outlasts her and becomes the HOH.
And the person who wins the you’re an idiot award for this challenge is…….
JAMES: You went out first?! Seriously? Endurance competitions like
these are geared towards shorter people with less to hold up. You should have
never been out first, especially before Corey who has at least 80 more pounds
to hold up. Heck, even Bridgette with multiple injuries lasted longer than you. As the trolls would say, you suck.
Game Talk Pre-Nominations
2. The boys decide to form an alliance called “the executives”, but while doing so cement that they know absolutely nothing about business. At least two of their stupid titles had to do with social events, and then Paul was “Chief blah blah blah Friendship”, or something like that. The amount of times this house says the word friendship should be turned into a drinking game. Just don’t blame me if you end up in the hospital.
3. King Paulie decides the nominations yet again and says that Zakiyah and Michelle need to go up. But, what he doesn’t tell Paul and Victor is that he wants Zakiyah, their target, to stay. This is another no brainer decision because why would you evict a chick who’s clearly obsessed with you? The fact that he ever considered it shows he isn’t as good at this game as he thinks he is. Victor, HOH in name only, concurs and decides to nominate these two for eviction.
But, before we get to the nomination ceremony, we have to talk about something.
America's Care Package
What a freaking waste of the power to eliminate two eviction
votes. Seriously, why does America like James? He does NOTHING, and its not like
his personality is that great. Not to mention, this power essentially became
Paulie’s since James has made it clear that he is going to do whatever Paulie
tells him to. I’ll say it again what a waste, and anytime America has to vote
on this show, the results always suck.
Nomination Ceremony
As expected Victor nominates Zakiyah and Michelle.
However, did any of you hear that speech? Holy wow, it was so unnecessarily
rude that Michelle couldn’t even hold back her tears until after. Not only does
he completely trash the two girls, he then decides to throw cheap necklaces in
their face to add insult to injury. Even King Paulie hid his head in shame. It
was mean in a situation where meanness doesn’t help anyone. Not to mention,
these nominations sealed that Victor will not win this game. Does he really
think Paulie and Paul are looking out for him? Zakiyah and Michelle were
numbers that were essential if anyone ever wanted to take Paulie out. Paulie’s
even planning on disrespecting his wishes and evicting Michelle instead of
Zakiyah.
So now, with all of that being said, I want to focus on a new segment that will be a part of my episodic recaps. There will be a "best player" and a "worst player" for each episode. Just a little teaser for my readers to see who I think has performed the best.
Best Player Of The Episode
Paulie. Is it ever going to be anyone else? I don’t like the
guy because he is a schmuck, but he is the best at playing this game. He has
numerous competition wins and controls the votes every single week, and still
no one is thinking of targeting him. He’s also got alliances with all sides of
the house with none of them believing that he isn’t being genuine. Barring any
future surprises, he is a shoo in to win this season.
Worst Player Of The Epsisode
Victor. He made nominations that will have virtually no
impact on the game in service of an alliance that will cut him first. Victor,
just remember, every Brigade like alliance still has a “Matt” who they evict
readily if needed. That is you.
Thanks to everyone for reading. I've really appreciated the kind words I've gotten about the blog.
